The CIL launched Grahak Sadak Koyla Vitaran with the aim to achieve the aim of ‘Digital India’ and ‘Clarity’.

According to a report of PIB, about 81 Million Tonnes (MT) of coal was dispatched through road Mode till October 2016. It was about 28% of the total coal delivered by CIL.

Till October 2017, about 93 MT of coal was dispatched via road mode. It was about 29% of the total coal dispatch of 317 MT. The road dispatch till October 2017 increased by more than 12 MT in comparison to the same period of last fiscal. This figure clearly denotes that the number is increasing and this app will act as a saviour.

This app’s main goal is to maintain track of all operations, from the issuance of a sale order to the delivery of coal via road.
