The Commerce Tax Commissioner said within the review that more and more traders should be deposited within the VAT interest waiver collection scheme hip till October 31 to gather the previous outstanding VAT revenue. He directed that regular monitoring should be done on all working parameters and weekly and fortnightly video conferencing should be done at divisional and zonal levels. Instructing the mobile teams and special research branch units to be fully activated to curb potential evasion, he said that effective enforcement work should be done by verifying the e-way bill.
