The last date for presenting other returns of GST is 31 December, but about 1.25 lakh people are yet to be assessed within the state, which is difficult to finish within the next 13 days. Demand to increase this era
Senior tax advisor Shashank Srivastava said that the last date for filing GST-1 monthly return of GST was December 11. By this era, merchants with an annual turnover of quite Rs 1.5 crore have filed returns. At an equivalent time, the last date of GSTR-3B is until 22 December. Alongside this, the last date for presenting other returns is till 31 December. This is often also the last date to file tax returns. This is often causing problems. In such a situation, it’s been demanded that the last date for filing the tax return and audit should be 31 March 2021. On the opposite hand, the date of filing of GST returns is 28 February 2021. If the department extends the dates, the taxpayers will get considerable relief. Presently, thanks to an equivalent deadline of more works, there’s a drag.
